The Veyron Super Sport is a different car to the original Veyron – squeezing anymore speed or power out of an already near perfect car is not as simple as just fitting a remap!
VW has managed to boost output of the 8.0-liter W16 engine to 1,183 horsepower and torque to 1,106 pound-feet through a variety of enhancements, notably the application of four larger turbochargers and intercoolers. Power is fed to all four wheels through a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox.
Insuring these when we ship them is vital, even a slight knock can cost upwards of £40k to repair, tyres come in at around the same cost, in fact everything about it is expensive, but if you have the sort of money to buy one i’m sure you really don’t care!
