This year the Gumball 3000 Rally starts from London (26th May, Covent Garden) and ends up in Istanbul, Turkey.

ShipMyCar are proud to be this year’s Official Shipper of the Gumball 3000 Rally, providing shipping for many of the participants vehicles from all of the world to London and then returning their very special vehicles back to them straight afterwards.

The cars we have been trusted to work with include an Aston Martin One-77, Bugatti Veyrons, Ferrari Californias, one-off Artist Design Audi R8, Bentleys, Porsches and more.

We handle all import requirements into the UK for the Gumball participants ensuring their vehicles clear customs once their car has arrived via sea/air and deliver their vehicle to our storage depot in London prior to rally start, or to whichever destination they choose such as their hotel

After the Rally has finished we will be collecting vehicles straight away in the highest quality car transporters, fully enclosed and insured to £20m per truck. Vehicles will then be delivered back to Gumballer addresses around the world via sea, air and road.

For any Gumballer still requiring transport arrangements please do contact us ASAP, we have arranged to bring cars back from Istanbul to London & Europe straight after the rally in fully enclosed transporters. Vehicles can then be delivered direct to your UK address or sent onwards to whichever destination you require via sea/air.

Transport to the rally includes storage at our facility outside Heathrow where we can arrange for your car to be fuelled and delivered to the rally start, or we can organise to have your vehicle delivered direct to Raccoon first for graphic work.

So far, a handful of broadcasters have already committed to carrying the new HD coverage, including Sky Germany and Globo in Brazil. There’s no word as to whether American fans will be able to sink their eyeballs into the 1080i broadcast or if we’ll be stuck with a scaled-down version of the feed. According to Autosport, that’s exactly what most viewers in the UK can expect. Rumor has it that the BBC has its eyes on broadcasting the races on its HD channel and then downscaling the footage for the rest of its viewers. Thanks to all for the tips!
