]]> The latest VOSA IVA Newsletter states that from 29th October 2011 they will also be testing trucks under the IVA scheme rather than the older SVA scheme as they have been up till now….

From 29th October 2011 completed goods vehicles having a Gross Vehicle Weight of not more than 3500kgs (approval category N!) will become subject to the new EC requirements.

Trucks to be tested under IVA

This introduces IVA to vehicles previously subject to SVA. The new IVA includes more inspection items than SVA and aligns more closely to the passenger car requirements.

In order to make the change, applications for SVA will not be accepted following close of business on 23rd September 2011
